Lee Gold [piano & voice]
From Cape Town, South Africa and has recently relocated to the UK. She has been playing piano since she was 8-years old and after many years of paying her musical dues, she has blossomed into a beautiful, talented and professional singer and pianist. After high school she went on to study Jazz at the University of Cape Town’s “South African College of Music”. There she studied under jazz masters Dr Andrew Lilley and Prof Mike Campbell. After completing her undergraduate jazz piano degree Lee immediately went on to do a postgraduate diploma in jazz vocals and graduated with Distinction. Lee has been fortunate to receive private tutelage from top international singers Deborah Tanguy and Natascha Roth.
Lee has worked with some of South Africa’s top musicians, including Judith Sephuma, Loyiso Bala, Arno Carstens, Zolani Maholo, Ard Matthews and Mi Casa.
Lee’s vocals can be heard on one of the “Lux Soap” advertisement campaign as well as one of the several new Nokia Smartphone advertisements. Lee also played and sing the theme tune on a South African film called “Lucky Man”.

Ha registrato due albums con il gruppo “Jazzbreakers” (con R. Bonisolo, P. Birro, L. Conte, W. Paoli), contenente arrangiamenti di famose canzoni rock, tre albums come leader: Touch e Go-Azzurra music 2005 e quattro Steps-Of limiti 2008 e “Playground”, uscito a marzo 2013.
Dal 2009 risiede a Londra dove ha suonato e registrato con Jim Mullen, Omar, Alex Garnett e Brandon Allen ed entra come session man nei leggendari studi di Abbey Road e alla Real World di Peter Gabriel per il produttore Hans-Martin Buf, collaboratore per 10 anni di Prince.
Ha condiviso il palco e registrato con numerosi nomi della scena jazz e Brazilian music:

Marco Marzola [bass]
Alongside his work as sideman, he started several projects as a band leader featuring International acclaimed guests such as Ed Cherry, Steve Turre, Sherman Irby, Akua Dixon, Darrell Green, Dion Parson. As a testimony to these collaborations, there are now a number of Albums available on line. He shared the stage and recorded with the most representative Musicians of the INTERNATIONAL JAZZ SCENEaround Europe and United States such as:

Worked very hard to become one of South Africas most In-demand, and Respected, Professional Session Drummers, for live touring and studio recording, and has recently relocated to London UK.
